About this opportunity

You will join a newly formed team taking over CI responsibilities to design, build and operate the CI backbone that powers Ericsson’s Radio Access Network (RAN). The role focuses on delivering robust, scalable pipelines and keeping them healthy in production-like environments.

You will work in a collaborative, supportive team that partners across networks to keep CI observable, secure and reliable, enabling colleagues to deliver features with confidence and supporting networks used by millions. Flexible ways of working and a mission-driven culture support learning and growth.

What you will do

  • Contribute to implementation and operation of the CI backbone for RAN: pipelines, containerized workloads, orchestration and artifact flows.

  • Support day-to-day operations: monitor CI health, follow runbooks, troubleshoot and resolve routine incidents, and participate in shared support rotations.

  • Automate repetitive tasks: write scripts and small tools to reduce manual work and improve delivery speed.

  • Collaborate with product owners, developers and platform teams to gather requirements, test changes and roll out improvements.

  • Contribute to observability and security: add metrics, logs and basic checks and follow compliance guidance.

  • Participate in knowledge sharing and handover as the team transitions responsibilities.

  • Perform periodic weekend on-call duties as part of the team’s operational support responsibilities.

What you will bring

We are happy to consider applications from candidates seeking their first full-time role after obtaining a relevant university degree in IT or telecommunications, as well as professionals up to mid-level seniority.

  • Practical experience with CI platforms, containerization/orchestration and artifact management (examples: GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes).

  • Programming/scripting skills in Python, shell, Go, Groovy or similar; familiarity with build systems.

  • Operations mindset and willingness to take part in shared on-call support and incident response.

  • Collaborative communication style, curiosity and empathy for users of the flow.

Nice to have

  • Deep RAN domain expertise is not required — this can be learned on the job.

  • Experience with larger-scale cluster operations or platform certifications is a plus but not mandatory.
