About this opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with a strong hands on mindset to build, enhance, and maintain high quality software solutions in complex, large scale environments. The role is primarily focused on coding, implementation, and problem solving, using modern Java based and cloud native technologies. You will work closely with architects and solution designers, translating defined designs into reliable, high performing implementations

• What you will do

• Develop, test, and maintain software components using Java (8/11+) and Spring Boot

• Implement business logic, data processing, and transformation rules in code

• Build and integrate microservices using REST, JSON/XML, and Kafka

• Work extensively with PostgreSQL, including SQL optimization and performance tuning

• Contribute to high volume data processing with a strong focus on efficiency and stability

• Debug complex issues across application, database, and integration layers

• Work with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud based environments

• Support testing, validation, and execution activities in delivery projects

• Follow established designs and contribute feedback for continuous improvement

• Produce and maintain technical documentation related to implemented functionality

• Collaborate within Agile and DevOps teams, contributing to sprint delivery and quality goals

• Support and guide less experienced developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing

• The skills you bring

• 4–8 years of experience as a hands on software developer

• Strong practical experience with Java and Spring Boot

• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and microservices

• Hands on experience with Kafka and asynchronous messaging

• Strong knowledge of Postgre

SQL and SQL tuning:

• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with ETL concepts and large volume data processing
• Experience in Agile/DevOps ways of working
• Tools: Git, Jira, Confluence
• Groovy experience is a plus
• Scripting skills (Python or shell) are a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a delivery focused mindset
