Supervisor, Lab Operations:

We are seeking a results-driven Lab Supervisor to lead operations of our pouch cell pilot line within the R&D laboratory. This role will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of cell development programs while driving process discipline, yield improvement, and team performance.

• Key Responsibilities• Lead daily operations of the pouch cell manufacturing line in the R&D lab.• Plan and schedule experiments aligned with development timelines and customer requirements.

• Monitor process yield, quality metrics, and failure trends**, driving corrective actions where needed.**• Oversee logistics, raw material planning, inventory control, and procurement coordination.

• Establish and standardize lab processes, SOPs, documentation systems, and compliance protocols.

• Ensure safe handling and adherence to applicable battery testing and manufacturing standards.

• Manage and mentor a team of ~20 engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality experimental output.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, materials, and engineering teams to accelerate development cycles.

• Qualifications & Experience• Strong understanding of lithium-ion battery fundamentals, cell chemistry, and pouch cell fabrication processes.

• Experience in lab-scale or pilot-line cell manufacturing.

• Proven ability to manage technical teams and drive structured execution.

• Familiarity with quality systems, data analysis, and process control methodologies.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
