Lead Software Engineer
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle from requirements and architecture design to development and implementation in a production environment. This is a highly hands-on technical leadership role that requires deep expertise in modern UI technologies, scalable architecture patterns, and emerging AI-assisted development practices. You will lead architectural decisions, drive engineering excellence, and mentor a high-performing team to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
All team members are expected to stay current with industry trends, modern frameworks, AI-enabled development tools, and evolving best practices to maintain industry-competitive technical skills.
What will you do:
- Lead the design, architecture, development, troubleshooting, and testing of scalable software features and components in an Agile environment
- Drive modern UI architecture decisions including Micro frontend architecture and Module Federation implementations
- Architect and implement reusable, modular, and independently deployable front-end applications
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers
- Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to refine and prioritize requirements
- Establish and enforce high-quality code standards, design patterns, and best practices
- Conduct architecture reviews and code reviews to ensure scalability, performance, and security
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents
- Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native deployments
- Promote performance optimization, accessibility (ADA), and responsive design best practices
- Leverage AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, AI-based code analysis, automated testing tools) to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery velocity
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, innovation initiatives, and long-term architectural strategy
- Document technical designs, architecture decisions, and system integrations clearly and effectively
What will you bring:
- 7+ years of strong software engineering experience with significant hands-on UI development
- Deep expertise in modern front-end frameworks such as React (hooks, context, suspense), Angular (latest versions), or similar frameworks
- Strong experience with TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Ng Rx, etc.)
- Experience with Micro Frontend architecture and Webpack 5 Module Federation
- Experience building component-driven architecture using tools like Storybook
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices integration
- Experience with modern build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, ESBuild, Babel)
- Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Selenium, Playwright)
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA compliance) and performance optimization techniques
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
What will set you apart:
- 8+ years of software development experience with architectural leadership responsibilities
- Experience designing enterprise-scale Micro Frontend ecosystems
- Experience with containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, and cloud-native architecture
- Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, etc.)
- Experience with design systems and enterprise UI component libraries
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications (chatbots, recommendation engines, AI APIs)
- Strong analytical, architectural, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence technical direction and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders
