• The MES Engineer is responsible for supporting the design and engineering of project sproject-specificcutting-edgepecific Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and system integration solutions like LIMS or ERP to clients, primarily in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, to enhance cutting edge process automation solutions meeting customer requirements. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:- To implement and test project specific solutions (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and system integration solutions (like LIMS or ERP);
• To work with MES Engineers and Senior Engineers on low and medium - complexity project tasks and to guide MES Junior Engineers;
• To provide the Senior/Lead Engineer with all necessary support and information to ensure that they are fully informed of progress;
• To present prototypes to develop and demonstrate special project features and to participate in customer interfacing activities (FAT, SAT, go live);
• To work effectively at different levels with clients and sales teams to support defining business needs and demonstrate our product and services capabilities;
• To support and be responsible as part of a team for selected areas of the overall solution architect assigned to (to define scope, sizing, system / operational requirements, integration requirements, support project estimations and ensure the application of execution methodology;
• To assist in developing detailed designs, implement and test complex MES (Syncade) solutions using both custom - developed software applications and configured products that meet client requirements and create technical documentation also required for validated facilities;
• To assist clients with resolving application problems and installing software upgrades, as well as patches for MES systems.

For This Role, You Will Need:- A bachelor's degree in a technical field is required (e.g. Computer Science, Chemical Engineering) or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience (MES, IT, Chemical, Life Science industry);

• Experience of project execution (requirements analysis, design definition, software development and solutions implementation) is preferred;

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:- Working knowledge of SQL Server;

• Experience of working with DCS, information/data management systems, ERP, software development, interfaces, networking, virtualization;
• Proficient in English with a third European language preferred (written and verbal).
• Computer literate (MS Office) with software programming skills.
• Willingness to travel with a European focus, mainly for shorter periods (up to 50%) as the need arises.
