About the role
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Customer Focus and Loyalty

Build strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs, challenges, and expectations

Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements and customer commitments

Act as a trusted focal point for customers throughout the project lifecycle
Project Planning and Risk Management
- Plan, organize, and coordinate project activities to meet schedule, cost, and scope objectives
- Coordinate timely procurement of equipment, materials, and services in line with project schedules
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities, maintaining active risk registers
- Provide regular project status, performance, and forecast updates to management and customers
Safety and Quality Leadership
- Promote a strong safety and quality culture across the project team and supply chain
- Ensure all project activities comply with Emerson safety standards and quality requirements
- Lead by example to embed safety and quality into daily project execution
Scope, Change, and Delivery Management
- Define, track, and control project scope to ensure successful execution and delivery
- Manage project changes through structured change management processes
- Lead negotiations for change orders with customers and suppliers where required
- Ensure adherence to established project management standards and best practices
Financial and Cost Management
- Manage overall project financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, and revenue delivery
- Implement effective cost tracking and reporting mechanisms
- Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage project costs
- Support Sales teams with cost estimation and technical-commercial input for major systems pursuits
Resource and Team Leadership
- Forecast project resource requirements and coordinate cross‑functional resource allocation
- Build and lead effective, collaborative project teams across engineering, supply chain, operations, and services
- Foster accountability, ownership, and engagement within the project team
- Ensure effective communication, documentation control, and information flow throughout the project lifecycle
Supplier and Fabrication Coordination
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including schedule, quality, and payment milestones
- Coordinate project activities with fabrication yards and system integrators
- Ensure supplier and sub‑supplier compliance with Emerson safety and quality expectations
Testing, Commissioning, and Close‑Out
- Plan and coordinate internal and customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
- Coordinate Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and commissioning with Lifecycle Services teams
- Ensure timely resolution of punch list items prior to shipment and delivery
- Lead project close‑out activities, including documentation approval and final manufacturing data book compilation

For This Role, You Will Need:

A degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline

Experience leading and delivering complex industrial or systems-based projects

Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedule, cost, and risk

Strong commercial and financial awareness related to project execution

Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and external partners

Effective communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and reporting practices
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience in process control, measurement systems, or automation projects
- Exposure to flow measurement systems, process analytical systems, or custody transfer solutions
- Experience with FPSO projects and understanding of marine certification requirements
- Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in demanding environments
- Strong problem‑solving capability and results‑driven mindset
- Candidates with extensive experience and demonstrated leadership impact may be considered for a Senior Project Manager role
