Are you a finance professional looking for an opportunity to grow? The Systems and Software Group at Emerson has a great opportunity for a Financial Controller to take the lead on financial management, control and reporting for our Rodkaersbro, Denmark site.

The role sits within the PWS finance team, reporting to the Finance Director for PWS Europe, and supports the Renewables team by leading financial close and reporting for the site, ensuring strong controls, compliance, stock and project oversight, and inter-company pricing. It works closely with Supply Chain, Sales, treasury, tax, risk and shared service teams, manages relationships with auditors and banks, supports accounting updates, and contributes to wider strategic projects.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Financial Controller plays a key role in the Renewables team, supporting the development and execution of its strategies

  • Leads the monthly financial close and reporting for the site

  • Drives system and process improvements while ensuring strong internal controls and compliance with statutory and Emerson standards

  • Oversees inter-company pricing, stock management, production control and core accounting processes including projects, costs and revenue recognition

  • Collaborates closely with Supply Chain, Sales and global finance teams to ensure smooth operations and awareness of business needs

  • Manages day-to-day relationships with auditors, insurers and banks

  • Supports finance integration, implements accounting regulation changes and contributes to synergy initiatives in Renewables

  • Participates in cross-functional projects that support the wider strategic direction of the business unit

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience

  • Min 7-8 years of experience in accounting and finance with good understanding of local legislation and practices

  • Preferable experience with ERP systems (Dynamics Ax and/or Oracle)

  • Full professional use of English and Danish language is required

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Matrix organization experience in international, ideally production environment
