  • If you are a Structural Simulation Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role offers the chance to apply advanced engineering analysis to meaningful, real‑world challenges. You will support critical product development initiatives by performing high‑quality structural simulations, collaborating closely with design teams, and contributing to the development of new analysis capabilities that strengthen the performance and reliability of Emerson technologies. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Perform, interpret, and communicate structural simulation analyses using established Simulation Best Practices.
  • Partner with senior simulation engineers to expand simulation tools, techniques, and capabilities.
  • Recommend and implement improvements or automation within simulation workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with assigned design groups to support ongoing development projects.
  • Review simulation models and results to ensure appropriate setup, material properties, and alignment with internal standards.
  • Ensure that analysis activities meet internal requirements and applicable industry standards.
  • Evaluate product designs for pressure boundary integrity in accordance with ASME and internal criteria.
  • Assess proposed designs for fatigue, vibration, and thermal performance to support robust product operability across diverse conditions. Who You Are:
  • You notice details that others may miss, and you use these insights to improve the quality of your work. You make sense of complex engineering challenges by focusing on what matters most, even when information is incomplete or ambiguous. You adapt quickly, stay curious, and proactively seek new knowledge to strengthen your expertise. You build strong working relationships, contribute to shared goals, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across functions and locations. For This Role, You Will Need:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of fundamental physics and principles related to structural mechanics.
  • Ability to interpret engineering requirements and translate them into effective simulation approaches.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly present analysis methods, findings, and recommendations. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience performing structural simulations for components or systems.
  • Background in product development, sustaining engineering, or similar technical disciplines.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools to prepare, modify, or troubleshoot geometry for simulation.
  • Familiarity with Python, Linux, or other tools that support automation and analysis efficiency. Our Culture and Commitment To You:
At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow. We foster an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and diverse perspectives—because we know that great ideas come from great teams.
