We are looking for someone who will work as a part of the Global Service Engineering Group, within Network Solutions, Infrastructure and Operations to engineer secure Remote Access and External Access (Extranet) solutions. This includes delivering solutions for common use cases and acting as a consultant for custom requirements.
This position will focus to maintain our current Remote Access/External Access service and the design and engineering of future alternatives which include SASE and other Zero Trust Based architectures, and work on the migration to any new architecture with minimal business impact.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Service Design and Engineering:

• Works on multiple simultaneous projects to implement new technologies and configuration in conjunction with other Service Engineering and Network Solutions groups

• Be able to clearly summarize and present technical situations to a non-technical audience and also comfortable around and presenting to Senior Management

• Ensure any changes that impact other parts of the Enterprise IT are clearly communicated and understood to all interested parties

• Acts as a lead and subject expert for network technologies/services within the group as assigned

• Participates in and applies the same Process for subsequent service releases as defined by the Service Roadmap

• Acts as domain expert for solutions involving Remote Access and External access.

• Works closely with relevant teams to evaluate specific new service features and design, test, detail a solution that can be operated in a globally consistent manner in Remote Access and External Access domains

Fourth Level Support:

• Provides 4th level support to Operations for sophisticated issues and drives these to resolution

• Own all brought up issues and drive them to conclusion, working with other colleagues as the need arises. This includes providing regular updates to customers

For This Role, You Will Need:

• BA/BS or equivalent experience in Information Systems or related area required

• Superb Communication and Teamwork skills

• Process Field and Documentation skills crucial

• English proficiency (verbal, reading, writing, understanding)

• Confirmed ability of working in a global environment, dealing with multiple time zones crucial

• Proven track record in the design, implementation and operations of an enterprise-grade network to include WAN and LAN

• Experience of secure access platforms provided by Cisco, Palo Alto Networks and Zscaler or any Zero Trust Based solution provider

• Experience in the design, engineering and operations of an end-to-end remote access system including the endpoint

• Experience of operating in an enterprise environment with strict change control procedures

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Cisco Security Certification preferred

• Palo Alto Networks Certification preferred

• Knowledge of ITIL v3 an advantage
