This role reports to the Design Engineering Manager and offers the chance to work on a high-impact team focused on designing custom products that perform in the harshest environments from deep in the ocean to outer space. IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Utilize CAD software and drafting knowledge to produce complete technical drawings.
• Produce detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and schematics to provide solutions in accordance with customer requirements and ASME Y14 Standards.
• Coordinate and consult with engineers to complete projects on time.
• Transform initial rough product designs into working documents using CAD software.
• Work with the Document Management Specialist in generating and ensuring the accuracy of Engineering Change Orders and Certifications of Conformance.
• Work extensively with engineering regarding engineering design and quote files.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Associate's Degree in Drafting or another technical field.
• 0 – 2 years of experience as a Drafter.
• Experience with CAD software
• This position requires access to export-controlled technical data. Under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), only U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 22 CFR §120) may be considered
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
• Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.

MUST be US Citizen or possess a Green Card:

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
