Job Summary:

If you are a professional looking for an opportunity to work with the global Emerson’s Control Systems and Software organization to implement cybersecurity solutions and work with customers on location anywhere in the world, then this is an exciting opportunity for you! The process control industries have many critical applications and require a high degree of safety and availability and therefore are looking for talents who shares the same value. You will be part of a team that delivers global services to protect such systems and support Operational Technology (OT) architecture against cyber-attacks.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

• Implementing security tools and solutions in process control systems, ensuring systems are properly configured, optimized, and tested.
• Performing integration testing of cybersecurity solutions on control system environments
• Reviewing customers’ security procedures and concepts.
• Analyzing risks and threats to process control systems.
• Training users on supported security products and procedures.
• Collaborating with senior engineers and consultants as well as customers in developing best practices and security standards.
• Drafting technical and security-related documents, controls, and packages for customers as well as peer documentation based on your security expertise.
• Working to understand our customers’ security concerns and requirements.
• Performing cybersecurity assessments of control systems and surrounding IT infrastructure.
• Validating cybersecurity solutions while collaborating with internal test groups to ensure the expected functionality is comprehensive and accurate.
• Providing technical advice, recommendations, and presentations to convince customers to embrace/accept proposed cybersecurity solutions
• A high level of motivation to work in various locations or countries, embracing new cultures, and engaging with diverse individuals. These experiences are essential for enhancing collaborative abilities and delivering effective solutions to customers
• The ideal candidate should be adaptable and ready to travel frequently, addressing customer needs through quick turn travel or short-term assignments.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field.
• With 3 or more years of related practical Networking or IT work experience,
• Demonstrable experience related to the implementation of cybersecurity solutions or cybersecurity standards, and initiatives.
• Experience and knowledge of defense-in-depth, trust levels, privileges, and permissions.
• Practical experience with security software such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), antivirus, whitelisting technologies, patch management solutions, firewalls, routing/switching, and packet analysis, among others.
• Travel requirements are 50% of the time.
• Experience with cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and practices adopted by multiple industries (e.g., ISA99/IEC 62443, NERC, NIST, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to a variety of audiences.
• Highly motivated to work in the security area and interact with customers.
• CISSP / GICSP cybersecurity certifications, or similar accreditation from recognized entities such as SANS, ISACA, (ISC)2.
• Experience in design, implementation, or life cycle support of process automation and control systems.
• Experience with Industrial Control System challenges in multiple industries.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience with cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and practices adopted by multiple industries (e.g., ISA99/IEC 62443, NERC, NIST, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to a variety of audiences.
• Highly motivated to work in the security area and interact with customers.
• CISSP / GICSP cybersecurity certifications, or similar accreditation from recognized entities such as SANS, ISACA, (ISC)2.
• Experience in design, implementation, or life cycle support of process automation and control systems.
• Experience with Industrial Control System challenges in multiple industries.
• Experience in international travel for business or for leisure, either independently or as part of a group
