The Emerson T&M Global Sales & Marketing Analytics team partners with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Web, Services, and Global/Regional Operations, and is actively seeking an Analytics Consultant to become a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and to deliver actionable insights that serve as a catalyst for company growth. This role would directly support the GSM teams by leveraging tools, technology, & processes to provide data-driven solutions, high-quality dashboards, and ad-hoc insights for decision-making and action, while working with key functional areas including IT, Finance, Data Office, & Business Units. This individual will play a critical role in developing our foundational datasets and ensuring our data infrastructure supports robust analytical capabilities. The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate findings to business and technical audiences.

In this role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Build effective partnerships with key business stakeholders across Global Sales & Marketing, Regional EMEA Leadership, Global/Regional Operations, and IT.

• Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to evaluate, identify, and implement actionable business performance measures, align region to global (act local, think global).

• Leverage modern tools and cloud infrastructure to develop scalable data sets that meet business/operational reporting and analysis needs.

• Develop optimized insight solutions. Design, develop, and test to ensure all data, reporting, and analytics solutions are accurate

• Create and maintain dashboards to measure & monitor business performance

• Perform data engineering tasks on an enterprise data platform environment

• Write complex queries that profile, clean, extract, transform and merge a variety of data

• Effectively prepare, document, and communicate insights.

• Be a thought leader. Proactively propose creative ideas to apply analytics to business problems.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, MIS, Business, or other relevant fields

• 2+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, and data transformation

• High proficiency in business intelligence & visualization tools like Salesforce Analytics (including CRM Analytics), PowerBI, Tableau. Power BI expertise is a plus

• Strong SQL skills. Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases.

• Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations

• Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.

• Experience with database and programming tools like Snowflake, DBT, Qubole (Hive/Spark/Presto), Python, R, is a plus

• Ability to establish time estimates, prioritization, and requirements for projects owned.
