If you are looking for an opportunity in Quality function, then Emerson has a great opportunity for you! The Quality Engineer ensures all components delivered from a supplier follow manufacturing specifications and company standards.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Supplier Quality:

• Interface with Suppliers, AP SQE, Buyer and Global Supply Chain to drive Quality improvements
• Drive supplier quality improvement on supplied parts and documentation
• Manage supplier non conformance feedback and closing the correction action according to procedure lead time
• Support MRB process and manage disposition of purchased components
• Perform periodic audits of Supplier Quality System for the purpose of assuring continued supplier conformance to the quality system requirement
• Maintain supplier scorecard. Deliver results as measured by key metrics, such as supplier DPPM, Cost of Quality and corrective & preventative action closure

Audit:

• Support internal and external audits program as per assign schedule

Others:

• Other duties which may be assigned by the manager from time to time.
• Making continuous improvements support on SGIA, Cost Saving and AI project relate to job process or cross function process.
• Support plant safety improvement activity
• Initiates actions to prevent occurrence of non-conformance, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum 3 years working experience in manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge in quality system (ISO9001), and quality control techniques.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or any Engineering related field
• Has the ability to analyze and develop solutions.
• Have effective leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under deadline.
