As a Field Sales Engineer (Valves), you will become part of the Nordics Global Sales team, with immediate responsibilities for Norway, based in the Stavanger office.

This role is essential for primarily developing, as well as maintaining and improving direct customer contacts and relationships in line with the defined "Go to Market" philosophy for the control valves sector. By engaging with our customers, you will work towards delivering the company's ambitious growth targets. The focus is on selling and promoting products, services, concepts, and solutions offered by the Final Control Business Unit.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Promoting products and services across the assigned sales area
  • Visiting key accounts and prospects to assess potential and strengthen relationships
  • Understanding customer drivers and staying current with their business needs
  • Preparing annual booking budgets by product, value, and period
  • Submitting call plans, analysis, and reports with timely accuracy
  • Reporting sales plans and project potential through CRM updates
  • Liaising with internal teams to prioritize quotations and maintain service levels
  • Participating in relevant industry events

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Process, Automation, or related engineering discipline (or equivalent technical experience).
  • Proven experience in field technical sales, preferably in valves, automation, or industrial equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Norwegian language
  • A proactive, self-driven sales personality with strong resilience and relationship‑building capabilities.
  • Ability to manage a diverse customer portfolio and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to travel throughout your assigned region.
  • Driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
