In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Project Support

• Continually improves customer productivity by leveraging digital tools and processes.
• Collaborates with the team to design and implement robust and scalable automation solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Logic Apps.
• Leverages advanced expertise in Share Point and related Microsoft 365 services to develop innovative solutions.
• Extends Share Point capabilities by integrating forms, web parts, and custom application technologies.
• Contributes to the full software development lifecycle, including: Requirements refinement in close collaboration with the Product Owner (PO)
• Analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment
• Works closely with the team of developers to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and enhance application functionality.
• Provides guidance and support for resolving complex technical problems and adapting quickly to new technologies.
• Analyzes and mitigates issues identified during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Go-Live phases.
• Reviews objectives against actual outcomes and implement necessary fixes or enhancements based on UAT results.
• Develops and seeks approval for UAT plans (including data backup/migration, communication, and cut-offs) in close collaboration with the PO.

Agile Team

• Actively participates in SAFe Agile ceremonies, such as but not limited to: PI Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Retrospectives, System Demos.
• Estimates work size and complexity accurately.
• Collaborates with the PO to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Defines and commits to Team PI Objectives and iteration goals.
• Conducts research, design, prototyping, and other exploratory activities.
• Performs peer-to-peer testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Aligns with technology-centric teams to share objectives and maintain cadence.
• Delivers work in small batches with rapid feedback from customers and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Researches and understands emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and deliver innovative solutions.
• Partners with the PO to escalate project issues or limitations and to propose actionable improvements and/or workarounds that can be implemented either on the spot or be planned for the next PI.
• Collaborates with counterparts and POCs to identify process gaps and inefficiencies.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives (e.g., Think Customer, QMS) and contribute to management objectives.
• Enhances business process efficiency through digital tools in a large-scale environment: 3,000 SP sites and 8,000 daily users across 27 countries
• Approximately 2.8 million page views per month
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

System Support & Maintenance

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to designated support responsible, as needed
• Delivers direct support to customers for urgent production issues, in exceptional cases.

Who You Are:

• The Senior Intelligent Automation Specialist is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions within Emerson’s European O365 and Azure environments. This role focuses on streamlining business processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and optimizing productivity through modern technologies, while ensuring solutions are cost-effective. The position requires creating robust, scalable technical architectures that reduce manual efforts leveraging reusable components and low-code development. All solutions must adhere to industry’s best practices, organizational standards, and compliance requirements.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Job Related Experience:

• At least 5 years relevant work experience in the IT software development field.

Specific Knowledge:

• Hands-on experience with automation tools, particularly within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem: (Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Advanced skills in designing complex flows, error handling, and performance optimization.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications are required.
• Practical experience with Share Point Online is essential.
• Deep understanding of Power Platform architecture, including Dataverse, security models, solution lifecycle management, and integration with external systems.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure API Management for extending Power Platform solutions.
• Ability to effectively write and revise technical documentation.
• Experience or a solid understanding of Business Analysis and SAFe Agile Framework would be beneficial.
• Deep understanding of licensing and operational costs, with the ability to select the best technical solution balancing cost efficiency and performance requirements.

• Demonstrated experience or a strong understanding of Business Analysis practices and Agile framework, particularly SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), would be highly advantageous.
