As an Outside Sales Engineer (Instrumentation),you will become part of the Nordics Global Sales team, with immediate responsibilities for Norway, based in Porsgrunn or in one of our other offices in Bergen, Stavanger or Oslo.
This role is essential for primarily developing, as well as maintaining and improving direct customer contacts and relationships in line with the defined "Go to Market" philosophy for the Chemical industry, and other land based sectors. By engaging with our customers, you will work towards delivering the company's ambitious growth targets. The focus is on selling and promoting products, services, concepts, and solutions offered by the Measurement Solutions Business Unit.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Promoting products and services across the assigned sales area
- Visiting key accounts and prospects to assess potential and strengthen relationships
- Understanding customer drivers and staying current with their business needs
- Preparing annual booking budgets by product, value and period
- Submitting call plans, analyses and reports with timely accuracy
- Reporting sales plans and project potential through CRM updates
- Liaising with internal teams to prioritize quotations and maintain service levels
- Participating in relevant industry events

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Technical degree, or equivalent experience
- Proven sales / business development experience in a commercial role
- Exposure to industrial automation environment (e.g. chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, power, life science, refining), with a good technical understanding (ideally measuring instrumentation)
- CRM & MS Office tools
- Proficiency in English and Norwegian language
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time in the country and regionally
- Driver’s license
