Junior Project Proposal Engineer

The Junior Project Proposal Engineer is responsible for delivery of technical and commercial complex project proposals to our customers for Power and Renewables industry within Emerson Control Systems & Software projects business portfolio and support Emerson sales teams in the pursuit of new business opportunities.

In this role you will:

• Ensure understanding, managing and satisfying each requirement or expectation from customers or company’s stakeholders through remote communication or site visits;

• Take ownership of the delivery of the assigned technical and commercial project proposals scope following the standard process;

• Act as Solution Architect applying technical expertise for the concept design development of Emerson solution, fulfilling customers requirements;

• Ensure the innovative and efficient solutions are proposed;

• Proactively apply methodologies, resources and techniques for minimizing the proposal preparation effort, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality;

• Ensure stakeholders and proposal team members are proactively informed on the status or any challenges;

• Take other responsibilities or tasks, including those related to Ethics and Information Security policies within the skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed. The business reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments in line with business requirements;

For this role you will need:

• Engineering degree;
• Proficiency in English and Polish;
• Good technical understanding of process automation, DCS (Distributed Control System) and/or PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, computer infrastructure and network architecture;
• Ability to work within defined timelines; excellent communication skills;
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.

Preferred qualifications that set you apart:

• A second European language preferred (written and verbal);
• Academic background in electrical, electronics, automation engineering or robotics;
