In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Assemble manual, actuated, and automated valves, actuators, positioners, and associated flow control equipment in line with drawings, work instructions, and quality plans.
• Test valves and pump equipment using workshop test rigs and equipment to ensure products meet specification and customer requirements.
• Select and use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and components safely and effectively.
• Interpret technical drawings, quality documentation, and special instructions to determine correct assembly and testing processes.
• Record time, job progress, and required documentation in accordance with Emerson quality systems and workplace processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area, including shared spaces and equipment.
• Comply with all Emerson and customer health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
• Participate in daily huddles, planning meetings, and toolbox talks, contributing ideas and raising issues early to support team outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues across operations, quality, and service teams to deliver reliable products and continuous improvement.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Practical experience in mechanical assembly, repair, or refurbishment of valves, pumps, or similar industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings, quality plans, and work instructions.
• Experience using hand and power tools in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
• A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Attention to detail and a quality‑focused approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow standard processes, record work accurately, and contribute to a tidy, safe workplace.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Trade qualification or equivalent practical experience in mechanical or industrial equipment assembly.
• Experience with quality assurance systems and structured production environments.
• Forklift licence, dogging ticket, or other relevant high‑risk work licences.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems.
• Valve product knowledge or experience within flow control, oil & gas, water, or process industries.
