Emerson. Consider It Solved.™In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:- Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules.
Align with and maintain areas to 5S standards.
Segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions.
Maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.
Setup machines in accordance with job routings, set-up sheets, tooling drawings, component blueprints, and verbal instructions.
Perform all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.
Align with all safety and work instructions.
Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as required.
For This Role, You Will Need:- High School diploma or GED required.
Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; strength in arms and legs.
Mechanical attitude (demonstrated through interest or experience in areas such as automotive, construction, computers, etc.).
Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.
Ability to read and comprehend machine (G-code) programming (machinist positions).
Use of precision measurement tool and gauges.
Shop math and ability to complete calculations using handbook formulas.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:- Associates degree or equivalent experience in Machine Trades or Tool & Die. Journeyman Machinists encouraged to apply.
2 – 3 years proven experience working with CNC machinery, such as mills, lathes, or grinders.
