The Director, AI Product Management – Knowledge Products is responsible for driving the end‑to‑end development and delivery of AI-ready Knowledge Products—specifically AI models and agents—from ideation through launch and ongoing optimization. This role translates business knowledge needs into actionable product and technical requirements, leads product discovery and validation efforts, and defines success metrics to evaluate product impact, knowledge quality, reuse, and adoption.
Unlike Product Managers within the Digital Product Management organization, this role treats firm knowledge as a reusable AI product—owning the strategy, quality, governance, and lifecycle of Knowledge assets that power multiple downstream experiences rather than discrete applications.
This role centers on strategy, discovery, and value framing, working closely with each Business and Functional area to identify high‑value knowledge domains, define reusable Knowledge Products, and determine how trusted, well-governed knowledge can improve AI-enable experience across their domain. Digital Product Managers will often serve as customers of the AI Knowledge Product Manager by integrating these knowledge products into user-facing experience. Digital Product Managers will remain accountable for the execution, delivery, and lifecycle management of AI capabilities within products and portfolios. The Director, AI Product Manager, partners closely with Digital’s Product Management teams to ensure enterprise AI knowledge products can be easily integrated, adopted, and leveraged across the firm.
This role ensures the adoption of responsible AI practices and compliance with regulatory expectations, while clearly communicating progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders. Working in collaboration with colleagues in EJ Labs, Engineering, Data, Product Management, Experience, and the respective Business and Functional areas , the Director, AI Product Manager, Knowledge ensures that AI-ready knowledge products deliver measurable value, remain trusted and current t through ongoing monitoring, and support firmwide strategic objectives through shared knowledge capability development. The role acts as a connector throughout the full product lifecycle—navigating ideation, discovery, delivery, adoption, and iteration.
This position sits within the Knowledge Lab inside EJ Labs, with a focus on creating and maintaining reusable AI knowledge products, rather than building one‑off or front‑end solutions. EJ Labs AI Product Managers own reusable knowledge capabilities, primarily governed knowledge domains, curated corpora, metadata, and content standards —that are consumed across multiple products, with EJ Labs and Digital Product teams serving as primary customers who integrate these knowledge products into user‑facing experiences.
