What You Will Do:

The BAS Team Leader plans, directs, and leads a portfolio-aligned team of approximately 10 Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) and 30+ global contractors responsible for supporting successful product and solution delivery within the Client Service Experience (CSE) Portfolio.

• Lead a geographically diverse team of BSAs, including Edward Jones associate and contactors, that support business requirements translation, delivery readiness, and successful solution delivery across the portfolio.
• Align team priorities, responsibilities, and objectives with portfolio goals, product priorities, and BAS strategic direction.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, development, and performance management while fostering an inclusive culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Lead associates and contractors through organizational, workforce, and delivery changes while maintaining engagement and effectiveness.
• Develop future-ready talent and capabilities, including adoption of evolving business analysis practices and AI-enabled ways of working.
• Manage workforce planning, staffing, contractor strategy, and resource allocation to ensure appropriate support across products, teams, and delivery initiatives.
• Partner with Product, Technology, Delivery, Quality Assurance, Compliance, and business leaders to align BSA support with portfolio priorities and delivery objectives.
• Drive adoption of BAS operating standards and practices that support consistency, quality, and delivery effectiveness across the portfolio.
• Utilize data, metrics, and stakeholder feedback to inform decisions, improve operational effectiveness, and support product and portfolio objectives.
• Identify and implement improvements to team processes, staffing approaches, and support models to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to department-level initiatives that strengthen Business Analysis & Solutions capabilities and organizational effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across teams, departments, vendors, and business areas.
• Understand the team's systems, processes, technologies, and business capabilities to effectively support delivery and decision making.

However, future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work and some roles may carry a preference for campus-based presence.

What Experience You Need:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Product Delivery, Digital, or a related discipline.
• Previous leadership experience including coaching associates, leading teams, mentoring, project leadership, or people management preferred.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to lead through change, collaborate effectively, influence stakeholders, and drive results across multiple teams and priorities.
• Strong understanding of business systems analysis principles, methodologies, and practices.
• Understanding of Agile frameworks, product delivery practices, and technology-enabled business solutions.
• Knowledge of business processes, system interactions, technology dependencies, controls, and operational practices.
• Ability to use data, metrics, and performance indicators to support decision making and continuous improvement.
• Ability to assess workforce capacity, delivery risks, and operational needs to support business objectives.

Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026. Before June 1, 2026, candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
