About the Team

The Finance Innovation & Transformation (FIT) organization is part of e Bay’s Finance team and is dedicated to elevating Finance by aligning technology, process, data, and strategy. Our mission is to drive a culture of operational excellence and unlock industry-leading innovation across the Finance organization.

FIT partners closely with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Technology teams to modernize planning capabilities, improve data transparency, and enable smarter, faster decision-making at scale.

The Role

• We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Lead
• Anaplan to drive excellence across e Bay’s Anaplan ecosystem. This role will lead the operational management, prioritization framework, and governance model that enables scalable, high-impact financial planning processes.

You will serve as a key partner to Finance and Technology stakeholders, ensuring that platform priorities align to business strategy while maintaining strict execution, transparency, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate combines strong financial planning expertise with enterprise systems knowledge and the ability to operate effectively within agile delivery environments.

What You Will Accomplish

• Own the operational management of the Anaplan platform, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, release coordination, and cross-functional alignment

• Establish and maintain effective operating rhythms across Finance and Technology partners

• Partner with FP&A and Finance stakeholders to translate business priorities into clear, actionable platform improvements

• Define and maintain platform governance standards, including model design guidelines, documentation, change management, and security controls

• Ensure effective integration and alignment with upstream and downstream systems, including SAP S/4HANA and enterprise data platforms

• Monitor platform health, performance, and adoption, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and automation

• Facilitate stakeholder forums and provide clear communication on roadmap, priorities, and platform performance metrics

• Champion continuous improvement and help strengthen Finance’s planning capabilities through innovation and operational rigor

What You Will Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in finance systems, enterprise planning tools, or financial planning operations

• Strong understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting

• Experience operating within agile frameworks, including backlog management and sprint planning

• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and align cross-functional stakeholders

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization

• Strong analytical approach, intellectual curiosity, and comfort navigating ambiguity

• Ability to work independently while collaborating across global teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience with Anaplan (Model Builder or Solution Architect certification a plus)

• Experience integrating enterprise planning tools with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA

• Experience supporting global finance organizations

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology or related field; advanced degree a plus

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$136,800 - $222,100

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
