Job Summary
Join e Bay as a Cloud & Kubernetes Engineer (Azure), where your expertise will build the future of cloud-native platforms. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with innovative technologies and chip in to outstanding solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, implement, and manage cloud-based applications and infrastructure using Microsoft Azure services
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters, including provisioning, configuration, hardening, monitoring, logging, health checks, incident remediation, backup, and disaster recovery
- Plan and complete Kubernetes upgrade strategies, ensuring detailed planning, environment readiness, control plane and worker node upgrades, comprehensive testing, validation, and rollback procedures
- Manage core Kubernetes ecosystem components, including kube system, CNI, CSI, Persistent Volumes, PVCs, Ingress Controllers, and observability tools such as Prometheus & Grafana
- Implement and enforce Kubernetes security guidelines, including RBAC, network policies, and secrets management
- Optimize cluster performance and reliability through efficient resource utilization, network tuning, and proactive identification and resolution of performance and availability issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure, scalable, and resilient cloud platforms
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5–8 years of software engineering experience with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and cloud security
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and internal components
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and services
- Proficiency with PowerShell, REST APIs, Azure CLI, Terraform, and IaC practices
- Strong experience with Azure services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerized deployments
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multi-cluster or hybrid Kubernetes environments
- Exposure to Git Ops and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
- Knowledge of compliance, security frameworks, and cloud governance models
