About the team and the role:

The ITSS Collaboration Services Team empowers e Bay employees to connect, communicate, and collaborate seamlessly across functions and geographies by providing secure, intuitive collaboration environments. We design and operate solutions on platforms like Slack, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace that drive efficiency and help teams deliver on e Bay’s business goals. As a Collaboration Administrator, you will be a hands-on owner of our enterprise collaboration platforms, shaping how employees work together every day. You will manage and optimize tools such as Microsoft 365, Slack Enterprise Grid, Google Workspace, and Cisco Cloud Email Security, while bringing insight into industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI, to continuously improve employee experiences. You will partner closely with other IT teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure our collaboration strategy and solutions are aligned with e Bay’s broader business objectives.

What you will accomplish:

  • Deliver secure, scalable, and reliable collaboration experiences for employees worldwide by administering, monitoring, and optimizing platforms including Microsoft 365, Slack Enterprise Grid, Google Workspace, and Cisco Cloud Email Security.

  • Drive adoption and effective use of adjacent collaboration tools such as Monday.com, Figma, Lucid, and Smartsheet—leveraging AI integrations where appropriate—to improve productivity and strengthen team connectivity.

  • Enhance e Bay’s security posture by defining and implementing proactive security policies, managing email authentication standards, and leading timely incident response and remediation across collaboration platforms.

  • Increase operational maturity by mentoring peer support teams, creating clear documentation and runbooks, and sharing best practices that improve consistency and quality of support.

  • Align collaboration platform strategy with e Bay’s business priorities by working closely with cross-functional partners and vendors to evaluate needs, propose solutions, and influence roadmap decisions.

  • Lead effective change and release management for collaboration technologies, translating technical updates into user-friendly experiences and communications that protect business continuity.

What you will bring:

  • Hands-on experience administering and supporting enterprise deployments of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Slack, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.

  • Deep expertise operating large-scale email environments using Exchange Online and Cisco Cloud Email Security, with practical experience implementing and maintaining DKIM, DMARC, and SPF.

  • Proven experience building, integrating, and supporting secondary collaboration SaaS platforms such as Monday.com, Lucid Software, Figma, and Smartsheet in a complex enterprise environment.

  • Proficiency with AI-powered agents, MCP servers, and APIs, including managing and governing third-party app integrations across multiple collaboration platforms.

  • Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, with strong communication skills to partner effectively with global teams and to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences.

  • A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset, with a focus on security, reliability, and inclusive user experiences that help all employees do their best work.

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

C**$102,400** - C**$136,700**

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
