About the Role
The Category Manager (Grade 22 or 23) leads the end-to-end e-commerce business, establishing strategies for sourcing brands/sellers within the category and driving brand/seller sales growth. They coordinate with relevant teams for monthly/quarterly promotions.
Responsibilities

Sales outreach for new brand/seller onboarding, sales promotion, and product sourcing planning (20%)

Category/brand/seller growth strategy development and sales support (50%)
- Overall operation and management of category sales/profit/key brand onboarding, selection expansion
- Strengthening partnerships with key sellers, enhancing market competitiveness through discovery of promising new brands and sellers
- Brand communication and related promotion planning
- Seasonal/quarterly promotion planning and communication with relevant departments
- Expand selection considering schedules and maximize internal/external exposure for target customers

Weekly/monthly/quarterly category reviews and team building/communication for sales expansion (20%)

Support category/brand/seller performance analysis and management (10%)
Qualifications
- Japanese resident fluent in Japanese/Chinese
- Experience as a Category Manager or MD in e-commerce or brand/seller online channels
- Experience expanding categories through promotions via sustained partnerships with brands
- Collaboration experience with internal teams and partners based on strong communication skills
- Proficient in Office tools (PPT, Excel, etc.) and possesses presentation skills

- English communication skills preferred
- Positive mindset and customer-oriented approach
- Problem-solving skills and proactive attitude to swiftly resolve diverse issues
- Passion for assigned categories and willingness to lead new changes
