About the team and the role:

Cloud Data Technologies (CDT) builds and operates on-premise, cloud-native data platforms and services that power e Bay. Within CDT, the Program Management Office (PMO) brings structure to planning, governance, and delivery.

As a Program Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex, multi-team initiatives within a defined platform or product area. You will translate goals into actionable plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and establish consistent delivery practices. This role works closely with Product, Engineering, and partner teams, with a focus on execution, transparency, and continuous improvement.

What you will accomplish:

• Deliver complex, cross-functional programs from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with defined scope, timelines, and success metrics
• Translate platform or product goals into structured plans, breaking down work into clear milestones and coordinated workstreams
• Establish predictable delivery through program ceremonies, dependency tracking, and progress reporting
• Identify and mitigate risks early, enabling informed decisions through clear escalation and trade-off analysis
• Build strong collaboration across Product, Engineering, and partner teams, maintaining clear and consistent communication
• Strengthen PMO practices by applying governance frameworks, improving processes, and contributing reusable playbooks
• Support team growth by mentoring peers and promoting effective planning, estimation, and risk management practices

What you will bring:

• 5 or more years experience managing programs or projects within cloud, data platforms, or enterprise software, including delivery across multiple teams
• Practical understanding of modern cloud and data technologies and how they shape technical planning and execution
• Ability to translate requirements into structured, executable plans with clear milestones and dependencies
• Strong skills in planning, estimation, and risk management within agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Clear and effective communication skills, including stakeholder alignment and status reporting across technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with security, compliance, and data governance practices such as GDPR
• Experience working with distributed teams or within structured program governance environments is helpful
