About the role

At e Bay, we're more than a global ecommerce leader — we’re changing the way the world shops and sells. Our platform empowers millions of buyers and sellers in more than 190 markets around the world. We’re committed to pushing boundaries and leaving our mark as we reinvent the future of ecommerce for enthusiasts.

Our customers are our compass, authenticity thrives, bold ideas are welcome, and everyone can bring their unique selves to work — every day. We're in this together, sustaining the future of our customers, our company, and our planet.

Join a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers — and help us connect people and build communities to create economic opportunity for all.

About the team and the role:

e Bay Collectibles brings together people who love trading cards, memorabilia, comics, and other collectible categories. We build experiences that make it easier and more rewarding for collectors to discover what they love, complete big moments, and feel confident every time they buy or sell.

As a Product Manager on this team, you will help shape how collectors experience e Bay’s core marketplace. You will guide the roadmap for a set of buyer and/or seller journeys in Collectibles, partnering with teams in San Jose and across the company. Your work will connect customer insight, data, and technology to clear outcomes for our customers and the business.

You’ll join a group that values learning, experimentation, and collaboration—and you’ll have opportunities to grow your impact and scope over time. We welcome candidates from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences in product, strategy, and technology, and we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every single requirement.

What you will accomplish:

  • Shape the product strategy and roadmap for a core area within e Bay Collectibles (for example: discovery, listing experience, post-transaction flows, trust and authenticity, or integrations with partner services), aligned to customer needs and business goals.

  • Define clear problem statements, goals, and success metrics, and regularly share progress, insights, and risks with partners and leadership.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data science, operations, and business partners to deliver thoughtful end-to-end features—from discovery and definition through launch and iteration.

  • Use qualitative research, experimentation, and analytics to prioritize the roadmap, test ideas, and continuously improve customer experience and business impact.

  • Build a practical understanding of the platforms, services, and data flows that power Collectibles experiences on e Bay, using this knowledge to shape technical decisions and unblock execution.

  • Represent collectors and sellers in every decision, helping us build trusted, joyful, and differentiated experiences that strengthen e Bay’s position as the home for collectibles.

What you will bring:

We know great candidates come from many backgrounds. You may be a good fit if you have:

  • Experience in product management or closely related roles (such as strategy, consulting, or technical program management) and a history of chipping in to digital products at scale; marketplace, e-commerce, fintech, or collectibles experience is a plus.

  • Practice defining and delivering product roadmaps, balancing customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility across multiple teams.

  • Experience with product discovery and execution, including experimentation, A/B testing, funnel analysis, and turning insights into clear product decisions.

  • Comfort working with engineers on technical topics—such as APIs, service contracts, data models, and system constraints—without needing to be the architect.

  • Curiosity about or passion for the collectibles ecosystem (trading cards, memorabilia, comics, or adjacent categories) and curiosity to keep learning about the space.
