Vehicles have long been a key growth driver for e Bay, with e Bay Motors established as a trusted destination for automotive enthusiasts and everyday buyers alike. As the automotive landscape evolves, e Bay continues to focus on building category depth, creating seamless customer experiences, and maximising partnerships and innovation to meet the needs of our diverse customer base.
Our Vehicles strategy is centered on strengthening the category’s long-term growth trajectory through operational excellence, customer trust, and scalable business initiatives. The Strategy & Operations function plays a critical role in ensuring the alignment and execution of these priorities—translating strategic vision into actionable plans that deliver measurable results.
Position Summary:
The Business Acceleration Manager will report directly to the Principal of Strategy & Operations and serve as a key partner in developing and driving new commercial opportunities to scale the e Bay Vehicles business. This role will focus on commercial lever ideation, operational execution, and cross-functional alignment to ensure that key acceleration initiatives across the Vehicles category deliver against growth and performance goals.
You will serve as both an operational advisor and initiative executer — innovating commercial ideas, developing plans, and executing & optimizing across a complex, cross-functional ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:

Operational Ownership: Lead the end-to-end execution of high-impact acceleration programs, including incentives, marketing, commercial agreements, and more. Drive accountability, track progress, optimize investment, and resolve issues to ensure initiatives deliver tangible business results.

Commercial Ideation: Co-develop new commercial activation plans with operating teams, serving as a trusted advisor and enabler of operational programs, working cross-functionally with dealer & consumer operating teams, product, marketing, and analytics.

Executive Reporting: Synthesize and develop narratives to acquire buy-in and support from key leaders on the results of commercial activations, optimization plans, and future outlook, in service of US Vehicles growth ambitions.
Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in category management, operations, or a similar analytical and execution-focused role.

Proven success in managing complex commercial projects and cross-functional programs in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional analytical, operational/commercial thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience crafting narratives and reports for both executive and operating team audiences.

Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse teams.

Experience with data analytics tools and performance tracking to inform commercial decisions and portfolio optimization.

Genuine interest in e Bay and the automotive space—while prior automotive experience is not required, a curiosity and willingness to learn about the industry is essential.

Willingness to work in person from an e Bay office at least 3 days per week, with occasional travel as needed.

Additional Details
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$92,800 - $160,200
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
