About the role...
As the Group Product Manager, you’ll be a key product leader in the Growth Area. The Growth Area is responsible for growing Duolingo’s userbase by making Duolingo so fun and delightful that our learners stick around to make real progress and tell their friends all about it!

You’ll discover untapped levers, modify existing ones to suit the Indian audience, and define the product strategy to make Duolingo a daily habit for millions of learners across India.

  • You’ll partner with engineering, design, marketing, and other functions to identify and bridge the gap between our global product and local needs. You’ll work closely with counterparts in the US and China. You will lead, grow, and mentor a team of PMs, leveling up their craft to drive swift experimentation and growth.:brain: You will...

  • Drive Duolingo’s product strategy for India

  • Own the key performance indicators you are entrusted with

  • Drive product features through their entire creative cycle: ideation, specification, development, release, analysis, and iteration

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to drive insights that inform product decisions and champion the Indian learner

  • Partner with design, business development, marketing, and other functions

  • Communicate with global teams across time zones to drive India growth in alignment with global product strategy

  • Lead and grow a product team

  • A track record of driving small teams to act with urgency and grow their footprint and impact

  • High autonomy, resourcefulness, and creativity

  • Strong spoken and written communication skills

  • Strong data, design, and product sense

  • Experience leading other product managers
