**This position is virtual to the Florida areas of Lake Mary, Northpoint and St PetersburgPosition Summary **

The Products and Service Coordinator I is responsible for effectively handling Duke Energy customers request for energy efficiency offerings, and other products and services. This is done by efficiently handing inbound calls, and making outbound calls as determined by key performance indicators (KPI). Successful vetting of each call is essential to providing energy efficient solutions to customers that balance their needs with the organization’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls
  • Complete Phone Assisted Audits and mailing reports
  • Schedule appointments for Advisors for Home Energy Checks
  • Offer other products and services (sales)
  • Drive efficiency, cost effectiveness and productivity of field representatives by using technical expertise to pre-qualify customers for eligibility of Residential Energy Checks
  • Respond to assigned escalated customer service complaints in collaboration with Consumer Affairs
  • Provide storm recovery support by fulfilling assigned Logistics role

Required/Basic Qualifications

  • High School/GED degree
  • 2 years related work experience

Desired Qualifications

  • In addition to desired degree, 2 years related work experience
  • Experience using Customer Information Systems
  • Sales experience
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Knowledge of Duke Energy’s Energy Efficiency Programs and Products and Service Offerings.
  • Working knowledge of Duke Energy's Customer Information System.
  • MS Office experience
  • Good communication skills

Working Conditions

  • Virtual Mobility Classification
  • Work will be performed from a remote location after the onboarding period. However, virtual employees should live within a reasonable commute to a Duke Energy facility.
  • Will need to have area available for uninterrupted customer interactions.
