About the Team

The Enterprise Ad Sales Team is responsible for the marketing vision, development, and growth of our largest advertising partnerships. This team is rapidly growing, and is seeking additional team members to build an industry-leading ads and promotions business across Door Dash’s advertising offering. The growing Door Dash ads business will quickly become the single best place for advertisers to market to local customers, in an ecosystem that benefits all parties.

About the Role

  • As the Senior Industry Manager
  • Enterprise Restaurant Ad Sales, you will grow and lead a sales team focused on well-known brands within the restaurant vertical. You will be responsible for working cross-functionally to evolve the go-to-market motion that meets and exceeds mutual goals of these advertiser audiences and Door Dash. In this role, you will operate entrepreneurially yet build on the foundation built by existing teams. You will be a diligent student of the restaurant industry, and aim to earn a reputation as an extension of your advertisers’ team. You will report into the Vice President, Enterprise Ad Sales, and be a key member of the Ad Sales Leadership team within our Sales & Business Development organization.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Successfully recruit, lead and develop a sales team, working with some of the most well-known brands within the restaurant vertical

  • Deliver on ambitious goals in a high-speed environment, building off of the established infrastructure from existing verticalized sales teams

  • Operate both internally and externally as a key member of the Ad Sales Leadership team, establishing trusted cross-functional relationships with cross-functional Door Dash teams with whom you share goals as well as in-market with senior client decision makers

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have a minimum of 5+ years managing people leaders effectively and leading team performance management to meet and exceed goals. Additionally, You have 10+ years of industry experience

  • You are a consultative seller with significant experience in digital media or adjacent performance-oriented industries

  • You have established and scaled sales teams from the ground up, and are a builder at heart

  • You have a firm understanding of the digital/performance advertising landscape including retail media networks, and proficiency in one or more of the specific audiences/landscapes your team will oversee (media agencies, offsite media and new verticals (retail, convenience, and grocery verticals)

Compensation:

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants and sales commission. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

See below for paid time off details:

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.

  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
