
Asset Protection– Smart Safe Specialist
About the role
The Asset Protection Smart Safe Specialist supports the management of our Smart Safe Program. The specialist is expected to analyze all the company’s Smart Safe protocols, i.e. repair/trouble issues with safes, coordinating installation of smart safes, analyzing cost effectiveness and potential savings relating to safe installs and armored car pickups, data analysis to identify opportunity trends in the program. The specialist will work to build solutions and recommendations to drive performance improvement for Smart Safe processes that assist in controlling cash losses impacting monthly P&L.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth analysis using data collected & combined from multiple data sources to provide actionable recommendations for smart safe improvement
- Responsible for developing and delivering effective presentations and reporting solutions for Asset Protection, Operational & Treasury leaders
- Responsible for identifying smart safe opportunities and coordinating projects across Asset Protection teams.
- Deliver reporting for weekly & monthly basis covering smart safe performance
- Support ad-hoc data and analysis requests from leadership teams in Ops/AP/Treasury departments.
- Support financial reporting for monthly P&L cash loss relating to smart safe losses
- Conduct financial forecasting for smart safes using historical trends, performance, upcoming initiatives
- Coordinate with all vendor partners on service opportunities, installations, credits, etc.
- Coordinate with field partners on installations, service issues, troubleshooting, etc.
Major Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Perform data gathering tasks and analytics
- Identify trends, develop solutions, project planning and data analysis
- Produce daily/weekly/monthly smart safe reporting for AP team and leadership to review and utilize.
- Deliver presentations to teams, executive leaders and sponsors.
- Synthesize findings and make recommendations to upper management.
- Continuous improvement in all analysis & reporting to fine tune action items
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree Required, and 2-3 years' experience in analytical role
- Strong computer skills (Expert Excel & PowerPoint)
- Experience leveraging business intelligence/query tools
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
