Join Our Team – Exciting Opportunity in a Brand-New Distribution Center

We are seeking a DOT Yard Driver (CDL Class A) to join our team at our new distribution center in Litchfield Park, Arizona. This role is essential to keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly by ensuring trailers are safely and efficiently moved throughout the yard and between nearby locations. If you are a skilled CDL driver who enjoys working in a fast-paced distribution environment and being part of a brand-new operation, this is a great opportunity to grow with our team from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Department Manager and team leaders, the DOT Yard Driver will:

  • Perform trailer switches, moving trailers in and out of dock doors and positioning them in designated yard locations. Many trailer moves are time-sensitive and critical to operations.

  • Transport trailers between off-site locations as needed

  • Conduct daily inspections of yard equipment and report any defects to ensure equipment is maintained safely and properly

  • Maintain safe operating practices while driving and handling yard equipment.

  • Assist with general warehouse duties based on distribution center needs, which may include: loading/unloading trailers, operating forklift type equipment and supporting other operational tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Current Class A CDL required and must be DOT qualified

  • Ability to back 48’ and 53’ trailers proficiently

  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)required

  • Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred

  • Ability to adapt to changing job duties and department needs
