What you'll do Research Operation Specialists at Docusign are responsible for orchestrating meaningful solutions that advance the impact of UX Research teams at scale. Your work in this role will directly and meaningfully impact improving our products' overall experiences. This individual will help create streamlined processes and programs that ensure research value across our entire Product & Technology organization. Success in this role will require effective collaboration across several stakeholder groups to create alignment, efficient working agreements, and clear expectations. It will also depend on building strong relationships with researchers, establishing solid rapport, and instilling trust. Last, success in this role will be defined by exceptional organizational skills and a strong desire to create and maintain mutually beneficial outcomes. This individual must have a growth mindset and be able to address the organization's operational needs tactically and efficiently. Our Experience Design team focuses on our customers and their business needs. We contribute from the concept to the building of world-class product experiences by partnering with Product Managers, Program Managers, Software Engineers, and other cross-functional teams. Together, we are a team of craftspeople who aim to make the complex look easy. We employ insights, pixels, and words to solve big problems and create delightful experiences. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of UX Research. Responsibility Grow the research panel by executing campaigns for key segments, personas, and audiences, making it easier to recruit research participants across multiple research teams and initiatives, ensuring a smooth, end-to-end experience for participants and stakeholders Identify processes, programs, or products that allow the team to capitalize on creative solutions that minimize effort and maximize value Work with stakeholders actively and effectively to advance research initiatives in a relevant and timely manner Manage several moving parts to any project, remaining mindful of scope, constraints, dependencies, and roadblocks Track, measure, and report work that is carried out by the team to identify strengths as well as areas for improvement Become knowledgeable of UX Research practices to create and maintain cohesion between Res Ops and UX Research effectively Identify possible solutions that streamline existing processes, being mindful of integration and automation opportunities Cultivate an expectation across our Product Experience organization that enables and empowers our researchers to conduct world-class UX Research Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience Minimum 2 years of specific hands-on experience supporting research operations Experience with SaaS, PaaS, and/or IaaS technology companies and/or industry Experience working on cross-functional or cross-disciplinary teams Preferred Proficiency using Google Suite / Workspace products Familiarity with UX Research best practices Ability to tactically address bottlenecks, blockers, and holding patterns in a way that results in optimal project completion times Experience using other UX Research and Res Ops platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Ethnio, Respondent) Ability to communicate and collaborate comfortably with relevant stakeholder groups (e.g., legal, security, compliance, data science, product management) Experience in other domains of Res Ops (e.g., knowledge management, advocacy, competency, governance, tool management) is a plus Experience working on teams that have transitioned from reactive to proactive operational states Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $100,300.00 - $154,900.00 base salary Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $94,600.00 - $130,075.00 base salary Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $94,600.00 - $137,875.00 base salary Washington DC: $100,300.00 - $137,875.00 base salary Ohio: $84,000.00 - $115,425.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance. Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
