Job Duties and Responsibilities Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview.
This role bridges the gap between AI development teams and business units to ensure that technical innovations are backed by intelligent financial decisions. You will solve the challenge of quantifying the ROI of emerging technologies by developing rigorous valuation models for AI products, features, and research initiatives. By managing complex forecasts for cloud and data costs, this position ensures the AI Office scales efficiently while maintaining alignment with long-term corporate financial goals.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives)

Establish and track key financial and operational metrics to measure the ROI of deployed AI initiatives, providing senior leadership with clear visibility into portfolio performance

Maintain sophisticated valuation models including NPV, IRR, and TCO to provide decision support for new product features and research investments
-
Partner with product managers to build comprehensive business cases that ensure AI project submissions are strategically and financially sound
-
Create precise financial forecasts for AI-related costs, specifically targeting cloud computing and data acquisition expenses to identify cost-optimization opportunities
-
Implement a standardized framework for value capture that tracks milestones from the initial intake phase through the entire delivery lifecycle
-
Facilitate the AI Office intake process by serving as the central point of contact for vetting, prioritizing, and assessing the financial feasibility of new project submissions
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel-driven financial modeling and technology valuation methodologies, specifically for Saa
S or AI-driven products:

A deep understanding of AI/ML cost drivers, including the financial implications of data pipelines and computational resource allocation

Strategic expertise in process design and documentation to create scalable, rigorous workflows for project intake and prioritization

Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights for cross-functional teams
-
AI literacy and application skills, with a focus on using automation and AI tools to streamline financial reporting and office operations

Critical experience in finance or corporate development within a fast-paced, technology-focused environment
Additional Qualifications

MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification

Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Familiarity with the telecommunications industry and its specific financial drivers
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum Experience:
3 years of experience in finance, corporate development, or valuation-focused roles
- Required Technical Skills:
Must have experience with:

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
