Job Duties and Responsibilities Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview

The Financial Analyst will monitor daily financial activity, produce weekly and monthly reporting, create forecasts, and complete financial analysis. Additionally, they will analyze the financial impact of enterprise projects and make recommendations based on that analysis. This is a Financial Analyst role on a business unit team that will involve creating budgets, reconciling payment activity, and partnering closely with the Accounting department for month-end reporting.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

• Partner closely with the Accounting department to seamlessly execute month-end processes, resolve financial variances, and manage accruals

• Build and maintain highly accurate departmental forecasts and budgets to establish clear benchmarks for strategic planning

• Analyze the financial and strategic impacts of major enterprise projects through rigorous cost-benefit analysis and present recommendations to department leadership

• Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate data retrieval, automate repetitive ad-hoc reporting, and enhance predictive forecasting accuracy

• Monitor daily financial activities to identify and communicate outlying trends, facilitating proactive operational adjustments

• Deliver clear, concise weekly and monthly financial performance presentations that translate complex numbers into actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders

Skills, Experience and Requirements Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring):

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data modeling, financial forecasting, and quantitative analysis

• Strong data interpretation capabilities to translate abstract financial variables into clear, logical business conclusions

• Demonstrated experience navigating daily financial reconciliation and identifying structural process improvements within a fast-paced environment

• Collaborative professional communication skills to effectively present financial insights to both internal departments and external vendors

• Foundational AI literacy to leverage automated tools for increased efficiency in routine report generation and database querying

• Natural curiosity and structured problem-solving approach to investigate operational bottlenecks and deliver well-reasoned solutions

Additional Qualifications:

• Familiarity with SQL for database querying and data extraction

• Basic proficiency in Python to automate financial workflows and data analysis

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience in a finance-related role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Technical Skills:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling)

• Financial forecasting and budget creation

• Reconciling monthly payment transactions and resolving account variances

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
