Job Title: Sr Manager- ESG, Controllership & Technical Accounting

ESG Reporting & Disclosures

• Lead end-to-end ESG / Sustainability reporting, including annual ESG reports, integrated reports, and regulatory submissions.
• Drive alignment with global frameworks such as GRI, BRSR, Integrated Reporting, TCFD, and other applicable standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (HR, EHS, CSR, Operations, Supply Chain) for ESG data collection and validation.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness of ESG disclosures.
• Support ESG ratings and investor questionnaires (MSCI, Sustainalytics, CDP, etc.).
• Embed internal financial controls and assurance mechanisms over ESG data.
• Liaise with internal audit and external assurance providers for ESG audits.
• Drive board / committee updates on ESG performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and emerging sustainability disclosure requirements.

Technical Accounting COE Leadership

• Lead the Technical Accounting CoE, providing subject matter expertise on complex accounting matters.
• Drive implementation of new accounting standards and amendments (Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP as applicable).
• Provide guidance on M&A accounting, purchase price allocation, consolidations, financial instruments, revenue recognition, lease accounting, etc.
• Review accounting treatment for non-routine / material transactions.
• Develop and update accounting policies and manuals.
• Ensure consistency in accounting practices across entities / geographies.
• Support statutory audits and regulator queries on technical accounting matters.
• Partner with controllership and FP&A teams to assess financial reporting implications of business decisions.
