About the role

We are looking for a skilled Workday PRISM Analytics Consultant to design, build, optimize, and handle advanced analytics solutions using PRISM, Discovery Boards, Workday Datasets, and advanced reporting frameworks. The role will support business insights, data transformations, and reporting for HR, Payroll, and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

PRISM Data Management & Modeling

  • Build and handle PRISM datasets, data pipelines, and data transformations.
  • Handle external data ingestion into PRISM using EIBs and integrations.
  • Design optimized data models, staging tables, and transformations for analytics.

Advanced Analytics & Reporting

  • Create advanced reports, dashboards, and discovery boards aligned to business needs.
  • Develop complex calculated fields, custom reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite).
  • Build multi-source reporting using PRISM datasets + Workday transactional data.

Functional Support & Configuration

  • Provide L2/L3 Workday configuration and support for Core HCM and related modules.
  • Handle Workday business processes, security configuration, validation rules, and condition rules.
  • Analyze, tackle, and resolve daily BAU/AMS issues and service requests.
  • Partner with HR team members to understand requirements and propose configuration solutions.

Data Governance & Quality

  • Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, and security for PRISM datasets.
  • Partner with Security team for role-based access and sharing rules.
  • Implement standard methodologies for performance and stability in analytics workloads.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work with HR Talent, and People Analytics teams to understand analytic needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical data constructs and dashboards.
  • Lead workshops, demo solutions, and create documentation.

Experience / skills required

  • 4+ years of experience with Workday reporting; 1–3 years in PRISM preferred.
  • Strong skills in:PRISM datasets
  • Data transformations
  • Data modeling
  • Discovery Boards
  • Advanced/Matrix/Composite reporting
  • Experience loading external data and building pipelines.
  • Strong SQL/data modelling concepts (not mandatory but highly preferred).
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder-handling skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience integrating Workday with external BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with Workday People Analytics.
  • Understanding of Workday Security, Business Processes, and integrations.
