We are looking for a Sort Control Specialist in our Operations Team.

As a Sort Controller you will be the centre in a web of several departments. Your work will be organized around and with the Sorting system. In the Sort Controling role you will be the person who makes sure that the sort plan deliveres all the parcels at the right sorting destination and will be responsible for the fact that the sorting systems maintenance is always at top level.

YOUR TASKS:

• The coordination, monitoring and communication of auto sort adjustments that are necessary to manage the physical
• manipulation of cargo within, into and out of the BUD GTW
• Analyzing volume flows, shipment routings, country operations effectiveness
• Continuous communication with other departments
• Solving small issues during the sorting procedure
• Providing engineering/maintenance services for the mechanicle and electrical maintenance of the MHE system
• Assist in all aspects of maintenance relating to an automated sort system including powered conveyors, telescopic
• conveyors, scanning systems, proximity and x-ray technology, chutes and caster/roller decks.Identify and activate
• exclusive partners in assigned geography
• Contribution towards the preparation of departmental procedures and methods as part of the MHE Maintenance team
• including continuous improvement activities and collaborative opportunities
• The 0/24 service in the period that you are scheduled to do the maintenance. Normally your colleagues won’t need your assistance during a failure due to the hi level of maintenance that we all perform

YOUR PROFILE:

• It is an advantage if you can demonstrate that you have a technical background and that there is experience in maintenance, planning and have a managing related work history
• Strong English language knowledge is a must
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work on their own initiative
• Excellent communication skills
• Result orientation, independence and accountability
• Excellent negotitation, argumentation and presentation skills
• Sort process knowledge is advantageous
• B category driving license or the intention to get one
