Responsibilities:

SME in solutions design with sector-specific skills/tools
Champion facility design with transport design capability
Establish optimal costing and provide commercial support for new/existing business
Identify required data point, analyse complex data, design, develop, model and evaluate optimal logistics operating solutions by utilizing appropriate software/tools
Make accurate business decision making/judgement, recommendations, resulting in the achievement of strategic advantages
Develop world-class innovative logistics solutions, perform and review methods or techniques that directly impacts the processes or productivity of logistics operations
Provide Industrial Engineering expertise, techniques and methodologies/structure to direct the DSC operation team in improving service, processes, productivity and profit

 Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management
At least 5 years of experience in supply chain business model analysis, warehouse operation, facility design and costing/budget evaluation, preferably in Logistics business of which 3 years of experience in Logistics Solution Design
Experience with Automation Design and Implementation will have an added advantage
Must be conversant and have experience in warehousing, transportation and broader supply chain topics to develop operationally feasible solutions
Must have exposure to (and preferably subject matter expertise in) some of the following topics: storage medium, material handling equipment, space analysis, manpower analysis, inventory/SKU analysis, operational key performance indicators, continuous improvement initiatives, transportation methods, packaging, secondary operations, costing and automation
Advanced user of tools such as Microsoft Excel and/or Access, Power BI to perform complex data analysis
Experience in at least one modelling/simulation/CAD tool such as AutoCAD or CLASS is desirable.
Experience with process flow diagrams, time studies, methods/work study and/or other performance analysis methodologies is a must
Proficient in PowerPoint and have experience with customer presentations and strong communication skills
Commercially astute, customer centric, creative, conscientious, flexible, innovative and a dependable team player
Proven ability to manage and develop relationships negotiate at all levels of management with internal and external customers
