IT PROJECTS & INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGER

What are your tasks?

• You lead all IT projects within the Brussels Hub (including developing the business cases and budget requests for large projects), and ensure a timely delivery within budget.

• You review and implement the proposals and plans related to IT projects throughout the organisation, and ensure to deliver a solution which caters to the business requirements and specifications.

• You set up projects and the relevant project organisation in accordance with our PMO department, and provide the necessary guidance and steering to all participants, including external suppliers.

• You report on a regular basis on the progress of all active and future projects.

• You implement and execute all IT Security processes to protect our systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.

• You are an active participant in the development of enterprise security solutions, and support in the delivery of IT Security projects.

• You execute security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing programs and systems.

• You implement disaster recovery programs and business resumption planning.

• You report any IT Security issues and the negative business impact of these issues to the Senior Management and the key stakeholders.

• Working in compliance with internal quality processes and procedures, as well as all legal requirements

• • Who are you?

• You have a Bachelor’s degree within IT, or similar by experience.

• You have minimal 4 years of experience within an IT context, preferably within an operational environment (preferably courier / freight industry).

• You haven proven experience with both IT Project Management and IT Security. A certification within Project Management (Prince2 or other) is an asset.

• You have excellent reporting skills, and are capable in preparing analytical reports highlighting and interpreting key business information.

• You possess broad knowledge of IT and Telecommunication Systems, eg. Microsoft, Cisco & VMWare.

• You excel under pressure, and are able to quickly resolve and manage issues that arise.

• You are a strong communicator to all different levels in the organisation, including senior management, and towards external parties (other IT entities, suppliers and third party support).

• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
