We are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of CSO & Quality Administrator. In this position you will play a crucial role to support our vision of becoming a Great place to work for all.

Role Outline

To identify customer needs and expectations, to deliver service requests, ensuring the customer receives an effective service by being efficient, knowledgeable and consistent in delivery, with the objective of achieving first contact resolution.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Identify issues preventing goods receipt (e.g., missing documents, incorrect load numbers, damaged cargo, system errors)

  • Create ODR in Metso system with correct reason codes and detailed description

  • Attach supporting evidence (emails, loading documents, photos if applicable)

  • Notify Metso and internal stakeholders immediately after ODR creation

  • Monitor Metso’s response to the ODR and follow up until resolution.

  • Close the ODR entry in the Metso system once the discrepancy is resolved and goods receipt can proceed

  • Generate accurate ASNs for inbound loads from local suppliers.

  • Validate ASN data (PO, SKU, quantities, pallet IDs, ETA)

  • Share ASN details with Receiving and Security for pre-advice

  • Update ASN for changes (ETA, quantity variances).

  • To promote a positive health and safety culture.

  • All incidents/accident reported and recorded in accordance with the company policy and legislation

  • Close the ODR entry in the Metso system once the discrepancy is resolved and goods received can proceed

  • Generate accurate ASNs for inbound loads from local suppliers

  • Validate ASN data(PO, SKU, Quantities, pallets ID ETA)

  • Share ASN details with receiving and security for pre-advice

  • Update ASN for changes(ETA, quantity variances)Qualifications/ Skills/Competencies/Experiences

  • Matric (Grade 12) Essential

  • Tertiary qualification an advantage

  • Computer Literacy

  • Excellent iterpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills

  • Ability to work within a pressurized environment

  • Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules

  • Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions

  • Good analytical, Administrative & Communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning

  • Windows, E-mail & Accounting package proficiency

  • Good follow through & General Efficiency

  • Must be able to communicate at all levels
