About the role

The Lean Advisor role focuses on leading improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency within DHL Supply Chain. As a Lean Advisor, you will lead improvement initiatives by applying Lean, Six Sigma, and process reengineering methodologies. You will work closely with operations leadership to identify opportunities, optimize processes, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve customer experience. This role plays a key part in strengthening DHL Supply Chain’s culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across the region.

As a Lean Advisor, you will lead improvement initiatives by applying Lean, Six Sigma, and process reengineering methodologies. You will work closely with operations leadership to identify opportunities, optimize processes, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve customer experience.

This role plays a key part in strengthening DHL Supply Chain’s culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead process improvement and reengineering initiatives using BPR, VSM, DMAIC, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies across country operations
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste elimination, and operational efficiency improvements
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and continuous improvement initiatives with operations teams
  • Coach and guide champions and frontline leaders on Lean and continuous improvement practices
  • Partner with OE Standardization and Digital Innovation teams to align standardization, reengineering, Kaizen, and digitalization efforts

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or Business Administration (or equivalent)
    • Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required

  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Business Process Reengineering (BPR), and continuous improvement tools

  • Experience facilitating enterprise-wide improvement workshops and transformation initiatives

  • Ability to identify and track key process performance metrics

  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and change management capabilities

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial or logistics environment
