Purpose of the job:.
The Finance Accounting Operating Model (AOM) is a strategic initiative within the DHL Supply Chain (DSC) Reimagine Finance program. Its objective is to establish a new Financial Accounting Operating Model aligned with the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, delivering cost and efficiency benefits while positioning DSC to fully leverage future digitalization innovations. This is achieved through strict adherence to global standards and continuous process improvement.

  • This role will be responsible for performing complex processes, ensure and manage deliverables of accounting processes for the countries/region in scope by liaising closely with Country Operations, Country Finance, Controlling and Shared Services teams. Responsible for quality delivery of services and in a timely manner while adhering to standards, policies, and procedures of DHL Supply Chain Reimagine Finance.Key Responsibilities- Ensure the review and reconciliation of the balance sheet and bank accounts on a periodic basis producing appropriate working papers, supporting documentation and ensure issues are identified and resolved or escalated where appropriate.
  • Regular engagement with country teams and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes and internal controls as per the ICS.
  • Ensure the review, validation, and approval Capex related purchase requisitions to align with group policy and procedure- Manages cash flow, working capital requirements and bank relationships.
  • Support of cash management activities including performing internal and external banking transactions.
  • Manage IFRS 16 reporting including review, maintain and modify lease contracts in the leap database including embedded lease reporting.
    · Regular engagement with country teams and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes.

· Deliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management.

· Support in any new activities transition.

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

· Ensure data reported in CREST and local accounting systems is an accurate record of the results.

· Provide technical support in collaboration with Accounting Governance for complex processes.

  • Engagement with stakeholders on required follow-up if any.Key Requirements- Bachelor’s / advanced bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountants (e.g., CPA, CPI, ACCA, or equivalent).Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting roles in RTR (mandatory)- Strong knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements in relation to accounting standards (IFRS) and local GAAPs in scope. (Mandatory)- Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Experience of using modern Finance/ERP systems preferably Oracle Cloud- Experience in US or LATAM Shared Services or Global Business Services operations desired.

  • English: Upper‑Advance proficiency (B2 ) is a must.
