About the role

Responsibility:

  • Source and develop new Key Accounts in the e Commerce logistics market based on DHL Global Forwarding e Commerce products. Identify, establish, and manage multi-tier relationships between customers and the DHL organization to ensure long-term partnerships and achievement of corporate goals.

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers (local and multinational)

  • Lead and manage customer presentations and proposals.

  • Understand customer expectations, deep dive into their business model, and develop customized solutions to expand business through cross selling; strategic thinking is required.

  • Provide customer-oriented service at all times regarding sales-related and customer-expectation issues.

  • Plan and coordinate activities and programs to retain and develop sustainable sales revenue.

  • Work collaboratively to strategically enhance the customer’s competitive advantage and maximize their lifetime value to DHL.

  • Develop and maintain account strategies aligned with country-level business plans to ensure profitable revenue growth.

  • Coordinate the development and delivery of consistent and reusable services and solutions to help customers achieve corporate objectives and gain competitive advantage through DHL.

  • Manage and coordinate agreed account initiatives, activities, and programs to retain and grow ongoing revenue and profit contributions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related fields.

  • More than 5 years of experience in the logistics industry is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of international air freight export operations.

  • Experience in the cross-border e-commerce sector is preferred.

  • Passion for sales and the ability to independently drive sales and develop new customer resources.

  • Experience in international freight forwarding companies.

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in both Chinese and English.

  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Experience in managing and developing large, complex key accounts.

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other office software.
