Our Data Science Team team is looking for the right teammate to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site in Athenry. As a Senior Process Engineer – Data Analytics, you will use state of the art data science and analytics techniques in the implementation, characterization, improvement, qualification/validation and monitoring of highly automated, high throughput manufacturing lines.
Where you come in:
You will be responsible for generating monitoring and business intelligence dashboards within the Process Engineering team.
You will lead initiatives to enable other engineers and technicians to self-serve when it comes to data interrogation.
You will implement KPI tracking and reporting across the Process Engineering team.
You will work collaboratively across functions to ensure timely and accurate analyses.
You will ensure robust and accurate statistical techniques are used to interrogate data.
You will share findings across functions and between technical and non-technical team members.
You will use best software development practices to ensure robustness and repeatability of any performed analyses.
You will develop and maintain project timelines and provide updates and feedback to project leadership.
You will implement problem solving skills and techniques to identify potential process risks, assess their impact developing and implementing mitigation plans.
You will plan and perform Design of Experiments (DOE) and utilize Six Sigma methodologies to characterize, assess capabilities, and determine optimal operating windows.
You will transfer knowledge and understanding to receiving site operations teams along with providing technical training for responsible processes.
You will consult with global data science and other relevant global teams implementing solutions.
You will assume and perform other duties as assigned.
What makes you successful:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master’s degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years’ experience.
Experience creating and maintaining business intelligence dashboards (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Aveva PI, Power BI).
Experience engineering and maintaining end-to-end data analysis pipelines, from querying data through to generating high quality visualisations. Exposure to advance data science methodologies is an advantage.
Ability to run self-directed projects, maintain timelines, stay organized, and balance multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty and a willingness to try new/challenging things.
Familiar with experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of experiments.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and personal interaction skills
Knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing processes and designs.
