The Company

Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.

We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.

About the Role
Dexcom is advancing next-generation sensor technology to deliver a multi-signal platform that goes beyond glucose—integrating advanced bio-sensing, new analytes, and expanded biometrics to support insulin, glucose, and behavior management throughout the diabetes journey and beyond. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, Hardware Product and System/Biosensing Solutions, you will drive early-phase discovery and concept development for breakthrough sensor technologies, with a strong focus on business impact and market success.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead early-phase product discovery, taking ideas from 0 to 1 and setting a bold vision for next-generation bio-sensing platforms.
  • Identify and size market opportunities, using customer, competitive, and commercial insights to guide prioritization and investment.
  • Translate customer needs and business strategy into actionable product hypotheses, balancing feasibility with market potential.
  • Drive rapid experimentation and scrappy research, applying lean startup principles and the Double Diamond framework to validate concepts quickly and efficiently.
  • Author compelling PRFAQs and vision documents that articulate clear business cases, customer value, and strategic alignment.
  • Define success metrics and prioritization frameworks for early-stage concepts, ensuring clarity and focus in ambiguous environments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Clinical, Marketing, and Commercial teams to evaluate new analytes, biometrics, and sensing modalities, guiding feasibility assessments and proof-of-concept studies.
  • Act with speed and urgency, fostering a culture of disciplined innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and structured risk-taking.

What Makes You Successful

  • Proven experience in early-phase product development, innovation, or incubation roles—ideally in medical devices, health tech, or other regulated industries.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to assess market opportunities, build business cases, and drive commercial success.
  • Customer-centric mindset, able to synthesize diverse inputs and make structured decisions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Expertise in lean startup methodologies, rapid prototyping, and hypothesis-driven development.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and storytelling skills, capable of crafting vision documents and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • (Nice to have) Experience in bio-sensing, digital health, or connected medical devices.
  • (Nice to have) Familiarity with regulatory considerations for novel analytes and emerging technologies.

What You’ll Get

  • A front-row seat to next-generation CGM innovation and the opportunity to shape the future of diabetes care.
  • Comprehensive benefits and global growth opportunities.
  • Access to career development through in-house learning programs and tuition reimbursement.
  • A dynamic, fast-paced environment committed to improving lives worldwide.
