The role includes maintaining regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance in conjunction with and through close coordination with the Operations Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen, and the Environmental Health and Safety Department. The operator actively participates in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in lease site operations, reports incidents, accidents, or near misses promptly to supervisors, and participates in incident investigations.

Technical Skills:

The operator reviews operating parameters recorded into systems if SCADA is unavailable, develops an understanding of operational issues at lease sites, and collaborates with maintenance teams to implement timely and effective solutions. The role involves demonstrating proficiency in Prod View, Eagle app, Cygnet, and Pi, ensuring SOPs are followed, prioritizing projects, demonstrating a strong understanding of the importance of safety and regulatory compliance (especially around emissions and spills), and making recommendations for the optimization of lease site operations.
