About the role

Join Dell’s Experience Design Group to lead end-to-end user experience for fixed computing solutions. You will apply a user-centered, iterative process, collect and analyze behavioral data, translate insights into design direction, and deliver the artifacts that move hardware and software experiences from concept to launch. You will partner closely with engineering and product teams and act as a strong UX ambassador at the Taiwan Design Center.

What you will do

  • Own the Hardware user experience across the hardware product lifecycle, from out-of-box setup to ongoing use and updates.
  • Plan and execute research that informs product decisions, including surveys, interviews, ethnographic methods, usability studies, concept testing, and quantitative analysis.
  • Translate behavioral data into actionable insights, design recommendations, and behavioral specifications. Analyze human factors, biomechanics, and cognitive load to design hardware that prioritizes user comfort, safety, and natural interactions.
  • Create and maintain prototypes, flows, UI designs, specifications, guidelines, and UX standards. Work across hardware, software, and product teams to deliver best-in-class experiences for our customers.
  • Present findings and design outcomes to development teams and executive leadership to guide decisions and align with business strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a consumer product UX role.
  • Strong educational foundation in UX research or product Design; graduate degree in applied behavioral sciences, product development, or human factors/ergonomics preferred.
  • Experience working on consumer-facing hardware/software ecosystems preferred.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end application of user-centered design and measurable impact on shipped products.
  • Proficiency with qualitative and quantitative research methods and prototyping tools. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey research and design rationale at the executive level.

What we offer

  • Opportunities to apply cutting-edge UX research and design that touches millions of users.
  • A world-class, multi-disciplinary and multi-national Experience Design Group.
  • Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
