• KAAS Software Senior Principal Engineer

Our Kubernetes as a Service team ensures that our internal customers have the container platform needed for hosting workloads in a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and an Openshift Container platform used for hosting production applications, CI/CD pipelines, and Dev Spaces. We oversee product development at all stages: planning, designing, developing and testing infrastructure, hypervisors, container platform, clusters, namespaces, databases, and embedded management and networking devices using a Git Ops model.

What you’ll achieve As a Software Senior Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for scaling our existing KAAS platform to enable multi-site resiliency for our most critical workloads and enable users across the company to onboard to it improving uptime, performance, and scalability. You will work with Product Development and DevOps team members on workload migrations to improve developer productivity and enable AI to change how we operate.

You will plan build, and support an environment consisting of:·Physical HW management

·Virtualization (VMware based)

·Container Platform (Redhat Openshift based)

· IP Networking and SAN (Dell Power Switch and Brocade)

· Treat infrastructure as code with our Git Ops model

Compensation:

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $161,200-$213,400
